PROCESS AND EVOLUTION OF KNOWLEDGE: FROM MYTH TO META-SCIENCE
Abstract
His The generation, socialization, and dissemination of knowledge have been established since ancient times in the main positions of the social agenda, with different degrees of importance, nuances of understanding, and sieves of interpretation. In this context, this document represents a descriptive work aimed at making visible and highlighting the historical course, as well as some of the social, political, and cultural elements that have enabled the evolution in the processes of generation, development, and application of knowledge within the human species. That is, how humanity has progressed from myth to logos, from logos to philosophy, from philosophy to science, and from science to metascience. The latter is seen as a branch of knowledge obtained through observation, as well as rational, systematically structured cognitive processes that allow the derivation of principles, theories, and general laws susceptible to empirical verification.
