VICTIMS OF SILENCE, WHAT MAKES A YOUNG MAN INTO A POTENTIAL CRIMINAL?
Abstract
The objective of this research work is to decipher the circumstances that create a potential criminal at a young age. This is not a new problem in society, however, today, we have greater tools that allow us to know how this phenomenon has evolved. In this way we have had as a reference the film titled: Los Hijos De La Calle 1996 directed by the American director Barry Levinson, which showed us a common reality to this day, since it can be seen that young people who begin to commit "minuscule" criminal acts ” like a prank, when they are of legal age they become feared criminals, in that same line we will develop this research adopting the main ideas developed by Clinical Criminology, Environmental Criminology and Critical Criminology. At the end of this work we will answer the question: is there a pattern that turns your youth into delinquents or is there simply nothing that can be done against it? To do this, we will carry out a brief survey that will help us obtain a better overview of this problem. We hope that with this work we can not only learn more about what turns a teenager into a potential criminal and understand that this problem cannot be seen only by one type of criminology, but as a whole, which is why we cannot evaluate a criminal. without knowing his past, his relationships of friendship, family and social interaction. As a result of the analysis carried out, it was concluded that the media contributed to society "leaving aside" the acts of violence displayed by Mr. Johnny Depp against Amber Heard , so it is also determined that the media has an influence on the perception that society has on judicial matters.
