EXPLORATION OF THE LAW FOR THE PROMOTION OF HEALTHY EATING FOR CHILDREN AND ADOLESCENTS: A NECESSARY REFORM
Abstract
Law No. 30021 in Peru, which promotes healthy eating, is shown as the first step to safeguard the quality of life and life expectancy of the population to mean significant changes in the dissemination of information to consumers, in order to ensure that they make an appropriate and suitable decision to know what they consume and what it entails to do so continuously. Likewise, it is understood the shortcomings that Law No. 30021 had to achieve its execution; a modification is intended to ensure the elimination of the asymmetry of information and that leads to a real decision of the consumer and thus achieve a more optimal environment for citizenship.
