Abstract

The present work aims to address the issue concerning rehabilitation as the ultimate goal of punishments. This endeavor is pursued through two currently prominent theories: the garantist doctrine of law and instrumental reason. Additionally, the approach is qualitative, using documentary analysis, and the methodology employed was critical.
