Abstract

Currently, we have witnessed the controversial changes in the legislative government, due to constant displays of discontent among citizens with respect to who holds the position of President of the Republic, since during the pandemic period to date they have seen different faces, this with a purely social reason, which has implied an impact on the responsible electoral exercise, since the change of president responds to a kind of "social march" under the assumption of lack of legitimacy, however, we forget that we are the ones who place the presidential band, which undergo an election process that must give them legitimacy and legality before the State. However, these social changes threaten the validity of said electoral process, since a social scandal will be enough to replace the latter for the change of authorities.
