Abstract

This paper analyzes access to natural gas in rural areas of Peru from a legal and policy perspective, based on the Camisea Project. It identifies the main access gaps and the limitations of the regulatory framework, highlighting an unequal distribution of the resource. Finally, it proposes measures to promote its massification and contribute to a more equitable energy transition.
