About the Journal

Kiru is a specialized scientific journal in the field of dentistry, published quarterly by the Faculty of Dentistry of Universidad de San Martín de Porres (USMP), Lima, Peru.

The journal accepts original and unpublished contributions such as original research articles, review articles, clinical case reports, opinion papers, and letters to the editor.

All manuscripts are peer-reviewed by national or international experts in the relevant subject areas, with recognized experience in scientific publishing. The review process takes approximately two months.

Kiru is indexed or registered in the following databases: DOAJ, REDIB, LILACS, LIPECS, CROSSREF, EBSCOhost, LATINDEX Catalog 2.0, MIAR, BVS, ROAD, CONCYTEC Virtual Library, REPEBIS, SIBUS, SISBI, BASE, and Google Scholar.

The journal Kiru adheres to the ethical policies and standards of the Committee on Publication Ethics (COPE), the International Committee of Medical Journal Editors (ICMJE), and supports the San Francisco Declaration on Research Assessment (DORA).
