As part of the submission process, authors are required to ensure that their submission complies with all the elements listed below. Submissions that do not adhere to these guidelines will be returned to the authors.

The submission has not been previously published, nor is it under consideration by any other journal (or an explanation has been provided in the Comments to the Editor).

The submission file is in OpenOffice, Microsoft Word, RTF, or WordPerfect format.

It includes a title in Spanish and English, or in Portuguese and English; with names and surnames, email, and affiliation(s); ORCID.

ABSTRACT and Abstract (in English): A concise exposition of the article, in Spanish and English, of up to 250 words, including: the topic, the objective, the methodology, the most important results, and conclusions.

References follow APA 6th edition style.

If submitted to a peer-reviewed section of the journal, the instructions in Ensuring Blind Review have been followed.

The text is single-spaced; 11-point Arial font size; italics are used instead of underlining (except in URLs); and all illustrations, figures, and tables are placed within the text at the appropriate points, rather than at the end.

Maximum word count for scientific articles: 6,000 words. Review articles: 6,500 words. Case reports: 4,500 words.

Keywords: up to five, separated by semicolons. UNESCO Thesaurus.

Maximum of 4 authors.
