HEALTH STRATEGIES OF THE MINISTRY OF HEALTH (MINSA): ANALYSIS AND DISCUSSION FROM THE PERSPECTIVE OF DENTAL RESEARCH

Through the Ministerial Resolution No. 823-2014 / MINSA; issued on November 3rd, 2014. A reorganization of the National Health Strategies by the Ministry of Health, the Deputy Minister of Public Health was authorized to coordinate the analysis, discussion and work with experts, in order to identify the essential functions of the National Health Strategies. The Oral Health group presented the respective contributions, however, an evaluation was not included in the final document from the research perspective that we consider it might be useful to make it known to the dental opinion. This report was prepared in 2015, and the interest in publishing it is to offer the new health management of MINSA a general perspective on oral health needs with the aim of working together to reduce the high levels of dental caries that afflict to our general population.
