Abstract

Donating an organ involves voluntarily give to another person who needs a tissue or an organ, in order to preserve its health or save its life, in this sense, it constitutes an altruistic human activity that seeks the good of the needy; however, there are several factors involved that today exist to create a negative to the donation, bringing forward in this context ethical questions that have more to do with the shortage of organs, the fair selection of recipients, among others. Therefore, in this work it is presented as objective to
know and describe the contributions that develops the personalist bioethics about organ donation; for that, it was made an exhaustive search of information through consulting books, theses and specialized magazines and virtual data base, using certain search criteria such as keywords.
