University quality education in the Sustainable Development Goals

The development of quality education is a very important criterion as declared by the United Nations in the 4th Sustainable Development Goal of the 2030 Agenda. The development of the quality of university education and its development has increased significantly in recent years. However, the studies carried out have not been sufficient; new results and interventions carried out deserve to be analyzed. The objective of this article is to delve into the systematic review of the development of university educational quality and its development in the Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs). As a method, a systematic search was carried out in the Scopus database with the help of the PICO and PRISMA tool. As a result of the initial review of 2062 articles initially identified, after applying the aforementioned tools, and taking into account the exclusion and inclusion criteria, 20 articles were extracted in which each of the relevant criteria was analyzed. 5 characteristics have been identified that quality education must have in line with SDG 4. In conclusion, it is important to propose specific approaches based on the development of quality university education that in turn favor the development of SDG 4.
